Tilt Table Test

A Tilt Table Test is utilized in order to determine the effects of gravity on your blood pressure and heart rate. A table that the patient is secured to is slowly tilted upward. Symptoms such as lightheadedness and dizziness or even fainting are reasons to conduct this test, to see if fainting is due to abnormal heart rate and/or blood pressure controls.
